The Right Parts avoid lots of Farts

OK, now that I have your attention. We sell original OEM parts, and we sell aftermarket parts by reputable manufacturers. Sometimes there is no substitute for the original, but sometimes there is. We try to make sure you know the difference, if there is one.

When it comes to snowblower parts, especially shear bolts and and belts, please be sure to get the correct ones. It's no fun shoveling.

When it comes to chainsaws, be sure to buy the right chain. There are many variables: 3/8, 3/8LP, .325, .404, pitches. There are at least .043, .050, .058, .063. gauges, if not more. Then there are infinite chain lengths determined by the drive link counts. The wrong chain can cost you a lot of money. (An 18" is not an 18" is not an 18".)

And if you purchased the machine from us, chances are we have your make, model, and serial number right on our computer! (But if you didn't we can always add it in under your name.)


When Experience Counts

Not long ago we had a 2 cycle unit in that the customer said could not be fixed. He fiddled with it, he took it to another outfit who fiddled with it... but it still would not start. The carb had been rebuilt, replaced, new coil, and still it would not work.

I pulled over the engine with the rope, and in 3 seconds I figured out the problem. The fix took a bit more time, but it was repaired and he was out the door in no time.

There is simply no substitute for experience.
