Did someone say they want a tune-up?

This means many things to many people, but essentially it comes down to this:

  1. Spark plug replaced.

  2. Air/fuel/hydro/oil filter replacement (as applicable).

  3. Sharpen the blade, clearing out debris built up in deck.

  4. Inspect all functions of the machine for defects (drive, cables, safety switches, etc.)

  5. Check the belts / drive disc as applicable.

  6. Lubricate moving parts as needed.

  7. Other work performed as needed

  8. Complete pressure washing.

The obvious, is not so obvious.

When a machine is brought in for service, you can assume that it will cost both in parts and labor.
The necessary ingredient (along with right parts and special tools) is the know-how. Our techs are
constantly being factory trained. These are requirements by many of the manufacturers we represent.
So, if you find you are in over your head, there's a good reason...  I guess you missed that class.
