BCS of America

BCS is direct competitor to the Gravely. Plus, they are both made in
Europe. The BCS has a very attractive cost, without giving up quality
or usability. They have no belts to break. They are built like a sherman
tank (probably were around back then, too!)

Gravely Gravely still makes these 2
wheel 'tractors' pretty much the same way they did 30 years + ago. Built
to last at least one lifetime, if not 2 or 3! They still have many
implements available.
This is the answer if price is not important, but rather
utility means everything! Municipalities such NYC uses these for
sweepers and plows. That is most likely where this unit type really
shines. It is rather bulky to be used as solely a daily mower, but as
a 'tractor' this thing is unstoppable. That is where the snow blade comes in
handy. The tractor unit is so strong that it has been used to push
cars.
I call it the 'Harley' of Lawn mowers:
- It's big
- It's heavy
- It's been around a long time
- There's an official club
- It may not be the smoothest to operate for long
periods of time
- There are many accessories
- Your grandfather probably owned one!
