Ramsplitter We now carry
Ramsplitter logsplitters. These are great units designed to get the job done
quickly, and even leaving a bit of change in your pocket. We feel this
unit is one of the best combinations of price and performance around!
You owe it to yourself to stop by and check them out.
Prices start at $1260 for a 5hp Honda 16 ton
logsplitter, that can be towed by a tractor. As usual, the price includes
freight in, assembly, hydro fluid, oil, and even some gasoline! |

BillyGoat's Outback®
This is designed for serious weeds! It eats
trees, brush, you name
it. If you can mow over it, it will eat it. This is not a golf course mower.
Mowing over cinder blocks or rocks wont hurt this bad boy! This is a woods
mower.
BillyGoat's
High Weed® mower
For nasty stuff you don't want to hit with
your lawn mower, but not quite bad enough for the Outback. It cuts
briars, brush, hay, and high grass. But it also does alright on a
finish cut. BillyGoat's
OverSeeder
Uses a vertislicer to dig up the grass bed,
then puts down of layer of grass seed that will grow like no tommorrow!
BillyGoat's
MV Vac LineBlows debris into the bag
from the top. The front end is adjustable in height. It's designed to keep
the nasty dust away from you, instead of in your face.

A leaf blower makes Fall so beautiful! We carry Little Wonder and Billy Goat. We have
rolling blowers from 5hp to self propelled 16hp! Talk about a hurricane!
There is not better device to rid yourself of the leaves. Be aware of
machine size if you have a hilly lawn (most are not self-propelled). Like
everything, a good brand means everything
in performance.
Check out our blower info in our PRO section. |

We have access to log-splitters made by Bachtold. It is a
horizontal splitter, designed to minimize log lifting (and
chiropractor visits!) thru the use of a moving tray. It
even has REAL transport wheels.
Our
Thoughts:
Use a brand that is supported thru a dealer. We found that cheaper log
splitters can rip themselves apart, and often have what we feel are
inflated tonnage ratings as well. |

There are many types of these machines on the market. The
bottom line is that some work great, some marginally, some barely! We try
and filter out the great from the 'not' by our own demo uses (it has to
convince us, before we can convince you!) We carry a variety of shredders
from 3hp up to 23hp+. Smaller ones cost around $450, mid-size homeowner
versions typically cost $1400, and big-boy toys cost $7K to $9K and more.
"Mighty Mac McKissick" is our preferred brand.
Our
Thoughts:
You want to watch the input size, the number of knives, engine horse
power, and portability. More than anything though, the cheap ones push
more material out than they accept in. Plus, they'll rattle themselves to pieces.
We're more than pleased with Mighty Mac McKissick |
Keep In Mind...
-
Keeping any great machine great takes maintenance.
Change those filters and oil!
-
Most of the products listed here are seasonal use;
this means that the if fuel is left in the machine for longer than 1 month,
it starts to deteriorate. If this is left unchecked, the fuel actually turns
into varnish, and becomes very costly to repair. To avoid this, treat you
last tank of gas with a fuel stabilizer. After running your machine, be sure
you ran all the fuel out (or empty it into a fuel can), and be sure to run
the fuel completely out of the carburetor too, by letting the engine run
until it quits. Now you have double protection!
-
Keeping your equipment clean not only gives you
pride in ownership, it helps you detect hidden problems.
Last but not least... always wear appropriate
safety gear, including ear, eye, and head protection! We carry a full
line of protection devices. If the equipment is new to you, we always
provide equipment use demonstrations. No question is too ridiculous, only those
not asked (and we don't have pop quizzes!)
