Global Warming?
The weather for January and likely February
2012, was quite warm. Some scientist say it is part of a much larger

Plan for an
early Spring
Regardless if it's global warming, or just
NY warming, it is time to get those mowers and trimmers ready for work!
Now is a good time, as our workload affords us a very aggressive turn
around time. Incidentally, newer equipment generally runs cleaner,
quieter, and consumes less fuel. This is a good year to consider helping
the environment.
Oil Prices
Oil pricing is through the roof, no one has
to tell you that. But did you know that our prices for 2 stroke oil
products are considerably lower than big box stores? Their prices on
name brand oil for 1 gallon mix, are
115% more than
what we charge! THAT'S MORE THAN TWICE THE

Snow time like now!
We have
already sold out of a number of models for the 2011-12. Many of these we
will not get
until next year.
Toro has a new 9hp (approximately, of
course), that has their own engine on it. What makes us happy, is
that we can get the engine parts as needed through Toro. The
rest of their lineup has Briggs engines. The lineup really has
not changed hardly at all for Toro from the last few years. They are
a very solid and predictable performer.
 Ariens
changed their 'dash panel' experience somewhat, but overall remains
the same. Ariens has a lot of options available on various models, so be sure to
look before you jump to ensure you are getting what you want
most. The Pro models have all been sold
out, no more to be had. The Platinum units were sold out once, but
we were able to procure some more. Most of the price point Deluxe
models are still available. Hurry!
 Don't be fooled by imitations, especially
now - when more and more products are completely "over the big
pond"
manufactured. Remember that one
day, you will indeed need to get service... how will you get parts?
Remember that not all brands or models are created alike. We try
hard to ensure that most every product that is sold will have parts
availability in the future. This is what creates value. There
is more to the concept of
value than the
pricetag.

Best Fuel Advice
If the engine will sit longer than 1 month,
then follow these steps:

With a small amount of
fresh fuel in the machine, Stabilize the fuel in the gas tank using
StaBil, or StarTron.

Run the machine for 10
minutes.
-
Empty out all of the gasoline
from the fuel tank.
-
Start the engine and let it idle
till the engine stops.
It is better to store a
machine empty and dry, than to leave it with fuel in it. (Thanks to this
wonderful ethanol in the gasoline).
