Stihl FS45,46
The FS45 for 'normal' height people
(?) and the FS46 is for taller individuals. Same engine and head.
The other variation available is
Stihl's new EasyStart ©. This makes starting the engine extremely easy
for those who do not have full strength or mobility of their arm/hand.
You can pull the starter rope as slow or fast as you like.

| Stihl FS90, 100, 110, 130 4 mix engine
This engine is now used on a variety of Stihl models, because of
it's high torque, quietness, reliability, and of course, politically
correctness in the area of CARB emissions.
The 4 mix engine is really a 4 stroke engine that runs
on 2 stroke fuel. Since it has no oil reservoir, it does not matter what
angle you turn the engine (just like a 2-stroke).
Unlike a 2 stroke, it is very torquey at low RPM's and
throughout the throttle range. That makes these machines absolutely
wonderful for blades! The engine does not have to wind out to get power,
so that makes it less annoying, and better on fuel! Plus... they
are CARB certified.

The
STIHL KombiSystem is a family of multi-task tools used on a

occasional users, semi-professionals and professionals for tasks such as
hedge trimming, edging, pruning, cleaning and cultivating, and more

and transportation space, it allows for significant cost savings as
well. Here is just a sampling of what is available...

KM55,90,110,130 models
available If you want
the power, Stihl has the machine. 4 base models to choose from.
Stihl has given this whole process
a lot of thought. All the attachments, and all the power heads, and even
all the extended reach pole saw and hedge trimmer all share the same
size handle tube and drive line. This makes interchangeability super
simple!

Redmax Stratocharge
Redmax has what is a clean burn with
a special 2 barrel carburetor, in a engine called Stratocharged
™
This process also helps fuel to go further as well.
All good!
Our commercial cutters love these machines because of
reliability and great prices. Their new cushion on the grips feel
mighty fine too! If you want simplicity, yet
reliability, Redmax is the way to go. |
| Our
thoughts: For economics, any of the
brands will work. But for brushcutting, we prefer Stihl's clutch (on their
straight, solid drive shaft) because it holds up VERY well. For pro
landscaper use,
we sell many Redmax and Stihl. |
